That’s it for this week. If any of these roles caught your eye, don’t wait too long to apply. Good luck out there!

I get faster callbacks when I follow up by phone within 24 hours and briefly reference a real case I assisted on (fractious cat restraint) plus the clinic software I’ve used (eVetPractice). Remote roles do move fast — “apply promptly” — but many want tele-triage chops, so if you’re newer, note any shelter phone-intake experience or add a line about being comfortable with symptom triage.

Treated these as “real-time” listings and applied within an hour; adding a 30‑sec video intro plus “Fear Free Level 1 / RECOVER BLS” bumped my responses. For remote roles, I attach a speed‑test screenshot and a photo of my quiet setup; https://recoverinitiative.org on the resume seemed to help. If you miss the window, match their software keywords (AVImark/Cornerstone) and note you can cover closing shifts this week.

I take ‘apply promptly’ and list Sunday/closing availability; brief SMS follow-up beats email, @Guide.

Real-time listings expire; I add a 1-page ‘skills snapshot’ — Cornerstone/IDEXX, catheter counts. Older than 2 days? I switch to clinic sites.

I’ve had the best luck with AVDC-led practices that block time for prevention and charting; you can find them here: https://avdc.org/find-veterinary-dentist/. @benF450’s schedule peek is clutch, and I’d also ask if they track a simple gingival score at recheck and keep a sharpening log — if those exist, prevention happens. Corporate spots can work too, but only where the manager protects 90‑minute COHATs and a dedicated 10‑minute coaching slot.
