Finding the right fit can be a journey, but hopefully, this week’s opportunities bring you closer to your next great role. Best of luck, and remember to apply promptly!

, the remote trend is great, but I’ve noticed some roles require a ton of prior experience, which can be frustrating. I applied to one last week that said it preferred candidates with at least two years in veterinary settings, and I barely scraped by with just one. It might be worth reaching out to employers directly — sometimes they’re flexible if you show passion.

One thing I always found helpful during post-surgical recovery is keeping a close eye on the patient’s temperature and comfort level. I once had a situation where a hypothermic patient barely showed signs until it was almost too late, so having a warming blanket ready made a big difference. It’s worth mentioning to always double-check your IV pump settings; a little distraction can lead to some unexpected issues.

I completely hear you on the remote roles needing experience — definitely frustrating. In my last job, we had a solid mentorship program for new hires, which helped bridge that gap. It’s a great way to build up the skills while working. @hburns88, have you found any places that offer similar support?
