We stick with 10 minutes wet after a thorough pre-clean, but we train staff to re-wet and restart the timer if the surface flashes dry — otherwise parvo laughs at us. Do you have people resetting the clock after scraping up any gross soil?
For parvo, I’ve found that especially on porous surfaces, it can be beneficial to increase the contact time to at least 15 minutes just to be safe. Plus, monitoring the drying process is key; if it starts to dry, you might want to mist it again. Have you considered any adjustments in SOP if you can’t achieve that contact time?
