Small changes that calm chemo visits

I’ve started adding a 10–15 minute quiet-room pause after IV vinblastine on our Thursday morning lymphoma patients, and I’m seeing less pacing in-clinic and better appetite that evening. Has anyone else tried simple schedule or comfort tweaks that noticeably improve quality of life between treatments?

I love the idea of a quiet-room pause! It’s like giving our patients a mini vacation from the chaos. Have you thought about adding some calming music or mindfulness exercises during that time? It might enhance the effect even more.
