I recently had a patient whose owner swore their golden retriever had decided he was a cat. Every time they set down a laundry basket, he would jump in and snooze. It got me thinking about how we might need to rethink some dietary plans — maybe he needs more of that ‘cat food’ for those lazy days! Has anyone else seen pet behavior that had you second-guessing their species?
